FSL supports Ukrainian people

Fleet Service Limited is proud to help support the Ukrainian people in this time of war. It is a privilege to have the ability to re-purpose our armoured vehicles for humanitarian relief

This week the second and third refurbished armoured vehicles have been supplied by Fleet Service Limited following their donation of the first van last week. These are destined to carry humanitarian aid deliveries into Ukraine from a base in Poland.

This initiative has been put in place by Polish Association Gloucestershire, with city councillor Alastair Chambers taking charge of the sourcing and personal delivery of the aid-laden vehicles across the Polish border to ArmySOS in Lviv. The first convoy, which arrived on Monday, included body armour and front-line medical supplies.

The vans supplied for this work have been proven as delivery vehicles for cash and valuables in the UK before being refurbished by Fleet Service Limited. Their armour is able to protect the crew from projectiles, explosives and gunfire that may be encountered in a conflict situation.

As a supplier to the security industry and a custom specialist, Fleet Service are quickly able to source and adapt vehicles to relevant road standards and the particular requirements of their role.

Donations towards the aid effort are still being accepted at Fleet Service Ltd. to be handled by Polish Association Gloucestershire. Local companies looking to help should contact Graham Beston on 01772 704 130 for further details.
