Fleet Service are able to fit a range of impact resistant and anti-bandit glass in vehicle windows.

All windows are compliant with ECE R43: headform test, light transmission, optical distortion, long term stability, resistance to chemicals, to abrasion, to fire and to climate changes.

FSG1001

Resistance to several impacts, with small stones thrown from a distance on a parked vehicle.

Tested to ECE R4 and EN356 Level P1A: 3 impacts (in triangle) of 60 joules each with a 4kg steel ball dropped from 1.5m high.

Protection level equivalent to a standard laminated windscreen.

Sidelights, approximate weight: 11.5 kg/m2, nominal thickness 5mm. Windscreen, approximate weight: 13.5 kg/m2, nominal thickness 6mm.

FSG1002

Resistance to most objects (stones, hammer…) thrown towards a stationary vehicle. Optional anti-spall and Molotov Cocktail protection.

Tested to ECE R4 and EN356 Level P2A: 3 impacts (in triangle) of 120 joules each with a 4kg steel ball dropped from 3m high.

Sidelights, approximate weight: 12 kg/m2, nominal thickness 5mm. Windscreen, approximate weight: 13.5 kg/m2, nominal thickness 6mm.

FSG1005

Resistance to strong impacts on vehicle in motion. Direct attack with bricks, hammer or any other light tools. Optional anti-spall and Molotov Cocktail resistance. (Anti bandit)

Tested to ECE R4 and EN356 Level P5A: 9 impacts of 360 joules (3×3 in triangle) with a 4kg steel ball dropped from 9m high.

Sidelights, approximate weight: 15 kg/m2, nominal thickness 7mm. Windscreen, approximate weight: 14.5 kg/m2, nominal thickness 7mm.

FSG1009

Resists severe and direct attacks with stones, sharp tools (axe, crowbar), catapult (steel bolt), small arms fire .22LR during riots. Optional non-splitting and Molotov Cocktail resistance

Sidelights, approximate weight: 19.5 kg/m2, nominal thickness 9.5mm. Windscreen, approximate weight: 19 to 22 kg/m2, nominal thickness 9 to 12mm.

Tested to ECE R4 and EN356 Level P5A: 3.5kg arrow shaped steel impactor dropped from 3.5m high. Glass must resist to 6 impacts at the same place of 120 joules each. Similar test: 4 impacts from 7m high (4 x 240 joules) Hemispherical impactor : 2 x 700 joules at the same place. EN1063-BR1: 3 shots of a bullet calibre .22LR (windscreen)
